SENIOR USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER  | 2015-2023

  • Own overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (owning the overall user experience and consistency across Tableau) to specifics of UI layout for a feature or service

UX DESIGNER II  | 2008–2014

  • Define the UX vision of the user experience, for feature areas in Office 365; including calendar, timelines, tasks, administrative tools and services, domain management and Exchange migration

  • Collaborate with a team of researchers, PM, developers and designers to define the user experience for Microsoft Exchange Online Services and Office 365

  • Solve difficult UX problems and understand work flow and product design – by driving design and balancing the needs of the customer with the business needs and technical requirements

  • Work in partnership with user research to improve the user experience, by evaluating customer feedback to ensure the highest level of usability and customer satisfaction

  • Create information architecture diagrams, sketches, wire-frames, and high and low-fidelity mockups/prototypes for mobile, tablet and desktop platforms.

MICROSOFT STUDIOS

DESIGN DIRECTOR | 2002–2005

  • Managed multiple projects that involved the creation, design, and development of CD ROMs, websites, print media, and flash demos.

  • Collaborated with multiple groups at Microsoft in all usability design and human-factor design requirements for the creation of numerous multimedia solutions.

  • Recruited, hired, and managed designers, production artists, and vendors developed sales, marketing, and technical training tools.
